Privacy policy
Updated: 19 October 2026
Sora's Pixel Stream is developed by Ameniwa and operated by LIBRE (株式会社LIBRE). This policy covers its free web version, Steam version and this website. The web version does not require an account.
Camera, screen and microphone
Camera and screen images are processed on your device. Pixel Stream does not upload them to LIBRE or automatically record them. Access begins when you select a source and grant the required browser or operating-system permission.
Only the Steam version uses a microphone. When you enable an audio-reactive effect, it analyzes volume locally. Pixel Stream does not upload or save the microphone audio. You can stop capture or revoke permission in your browser or operating system.
Screenshots and recordings
When you press the screenshot or recording button, Pixel Stream creates a file on your device. Its built-in recording captures video without audio. On supported mobile browsers, you can choose a destination in the share sheet. If you choose another app or cloud service, that destination handles the file under its own rules.
If you stream or record the output with OBS or another service, that software or service handles the resulting content.
Settings saved on your device
Language, appearance, effect settings and the selected camera's identifier and name are saved locally. The Steam version also saves presets, output settings, hotkeys and achievement progress. These settings are not sent to LIBRE.
Web settings can be removed by clearing this site's data in your browser. Steam settings are stored in the app's local data. Saved image and video files are separate from these settings.
Website delivery and fonts
The website uses Cloudflare for delivery and security. The web and Steam versions load fonts from Google Fonts. These requests disclose connection information, such as your IP address, to the service providing the content. Those providers process information under their own policies.
Pixel Stream does not include advertising trackers or audience analytics tags.
Steam-only network features
If you enable STREAM STATS, the app sends the video or channel identifier you entered to YouTube or Twitch to retrieve public information, such as viewer counts and live status. The provider also receives connection information such as your IP address. This feature does not ask for your account password or sign-in credentials.
The Steam integration communicates with the Steam client for ownership checks, achievements and usage information. Valve handles Steam account information and achievement synchronization under its own policy. Opening external links also connects to the destination website.
