Terms of use
Updated: 19 October 2026
These terms apply to the free web version and paid Steam version of Sora's Pixel Stream, developed by Ameniwa and operated by LIBRE (株式会社LIBRE).
Using Pixel Stream
You may use Pixel Stream for personal or commercial streams, videos and other content, including monetized content. No additional fee is required for using its output. The Steam version also requires no credit to Pixel Stream. The web version is free; the Steam version requires a purchase.
Free web version
The web version is provided free of charge and as is. We may change or restrict its features, or suspend or discontinue it, at any time without notice.
When you stream or publish videos made with the web version, credit "Sora's Pixel Stream" where viewers can see it, such as in the description or on the stream screen (for example: Made with Sora's Pixel Stream https://pixel-stream.ameniwa.com). No credit is needed for posts on X or other social media.
Paid Steam version
A Steam purchase grants a non-exclusive license to use the software on devices permitted by the Steam Subscriber Agreement. It does not transfer ownership of the software. The supplied features and system requirements are those described on the Steam store at the time of purchase.
Except for commitments expressly made at purchase or obligations imposed by law, a purchase does not include a promise of future features, ongoing compatibility with every OS update or third-party application, custom changes, or indefinite updates or support.
Use Steam Support for payment, purchase and refund procedures, which are subject to Steam's terms.
Your content and other people's work
LIBRE does not claim rights to your original content merely because you process it with Pixel Stream. Games, music, models, images and other material you capture remain subject to their owners' rights and usage rules. Obtain any permission needed for recording, publishing or streaming them.
Rights to Pixel Stream itself belong to Ameniwa or the respective rights holders. Included sample footage and third-party components retain their own licenses. Permission to use Pixel Stream's output does not replace those licenses.
Prohibited uses
Do not use the software to violate the law or another person's rights or privacy, interfere with the service, or gain unauthorized access.
Do not analyze the software (including reverse engineering, decompiling or disassembling), modify it, circumvent its feature restrictions (including enabling paid features in the web version), or redistribute or sell the software itself without permission, except where an applicable license or law permits it.
Disclaimer
We make no warranty, express or implied, that the software is free from defects in fact or in law, including defects in safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, validity, fitness for a particular purpose or security, errors, bugs or infringement of rights.
We are not liable for any damages arising from the software, except where caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Where the preceding exclusion is not permitted by the Consumer Contract Act of Japan or other applicable law, we are not liable for damages arising from special circumstances caused by our negligence (other than gross negligence), and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the software.
The software does not store or back up your footage or settings. We are likewise not liable for damages caused by changes to, suspension or discontinuation of the software, or by devices, operating systems, browsers, OBS, Steam, streaming services, network connections or anything else outside our control, except where caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when we consider it necessary. Before a change takes effect, we will post the revised terms and their effective date on this site or on Steam; we do not notify users individually. If you use the software on or after the effective date, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised terms.
General
If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
The Japanese version of these terms is the original. If a translation, including the English version, differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Kyoto District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute relating to the software.
